M.A. English is a two-year (four semesters) programme offered at one of the best M.A. English Literature Department in the state of Rajasthan, the school aims to usher the students into the lively world of literature & language. The programme runs through four semesters; each semester requires the students to study the Core English courses with one course related to language in each semester.
Students learn to analyse literature and develop their literary and linguistic repertoire at an advanced level. The programme offers a complete and rigorous exercise that introduces the learners to innovative research while training them to understand a range of theoretical and literary-historical frameworks to understand literatures of the world. In the final semester the students are required to submit a research project (Dissertation). The programme also offers the learners a pathway to prepare for Ph. D. programme, NET exam, Civil Services exam and other Competitive Exams.
